Cepravin Dry Cow Tubes
We are pleased to announce we have now permanently reduced the price of these tubes. Recommended for routine dry cow therapy lasting up to 10 weeks. Available in 20, 120 and 160 tube packs. Please order larger packs a day in advance.
Please note there has been a change in Cepravins withdrawl period from 51 days to 54 days.

Cephaguard DC has recently come onto the market, gives up to 7 weeks of protection. Available in 20, 60 and 180 tube packs. Please  order larger packs 24 hours in advance.

Huskvac - Oral Lungworm Vaccine for Calves
Husk is becoming an increasingly serious and costly  problem, particularly in adult cattle.  Vaccination with Huskvac is the reliable and practical means of providing lungworm immunity in your herd.
Packs are only available in packs of 12
Please remember to order your 1st and 2nd dose between February and April  together as we are unable to split packs.

Leptospirosis
Bovine Leptospirosis is on the increase and is a costly disease. Dignosis is easy and control is simple. Vaccination will financial losses.
Leptospirosis can be transferred to Humans.
Primary vaccimation course consists of 2 injections four to six
weeks apart ideally completed in the spring. Calves as young as four weeks may be vaccinated. Booster vaccinations are given annually, if the initial dose is given at a time other than spring the first booster should be given in the following spring and annually thereafter. Please speak to a vet for more details.

Micotil Important Information.
Following suspected deaths in America we advise you to read the following carefully:
Make sure the animal to be injected is properly restrained.
Withdraw the dose from the bottle and then detach the syringe from the needle that is in the bottle.
Place a seperate needle under the animals skin.
Attach the syring and inject
Never place a syringe and needle in your pocket.

Micotil is a very effective drug and is safe when used correctly.  If you have any queries, please speak to a vet.

Lincospectin
Instructions for the use of Lincospectin in solution for footbathing cattle as part control for digital dermatitis.
Lincospectin is not licensed for use in cattle and under the Medicines Regulations can only be used when other medicines have shown not to work.  Great care must be taken in its disposal to ensure that it cannot enter waterways etc.  Care should also be taken to ensure that cows do not drink any solution - this means footbathing must be supervised at all times and cows shut away from the footbath after use.
The footbath solution is made up by using one 150g tub in 400 litres of water - the bath must be filled sufficiently to cover the fetlock area of the cows.  Cows feet should be washed off before going into the footbath.  Cows should be put through the solution every 12 hours for 3 sessions and repeat as necessary.

Tetsol
Instructions for the use in Tetsol in solution for footbathing cattle as part control for digital dermatitis.
Tetsol is not licenced for use in cattle and again must be kept out of waterways.  Care should be taken that the cows do not drink any solution.
The footbath solution is made up by using one sachet of Tetsol in 160 litres of water and must be filled to cover the fetlock area of the cows.  Cows feet should again be washed off before going into the footbath.  Cows should be put through the solution every 12 hours for 3 sessions and repeat if necessary
