Frontline
Combo
Frontline
Combo is the worlds leading veterinary flea and tick treatment and is
available
in an easy to use, non-aerosol spray and spot on treatment. It is
active
against all types of ticks and will kill them on dogs for up to one
month.
Frontline
Combo provides all the benefits of Frontline but now includes a new
second
active ingredient, (s) – methoprene, an insect growth regulator.
Experts
in flea control recommend an integrated approach to the flea problem,
with the
use of more than one active compound, one to kill adult fleas, the
adulticide,
and one to inhibit the development of the immature or environmental
stages,
which is the insect growth regulator. Mechanical control methods such
as
regular vacumming and washing of your pets bedding also help to prevent
flea
infestation.
Frontline
Combo is the only product currently available that offers these two
active
ingredients, providing a 2-in-1 action in the fight against fleas in
one
spot-on pipette. By using Frontline Combo on your pet, you are not only
killing
the adult fleas, but also preventing the development of the eggs,
larvae and
pupae that cause the infestation in your home.
Applied
as a spot-on treatment to the back of your pets neck, Frontline Combo
spreads
over the entire surface of your pets body, collecting in the “oil
glands” of
the skin. This keeps the level of the active ingredient on the body
surface to
provide flea control for the whole dosage interval.
Frontline
is resistant to bathing and shampooing and is not affected by sunlight.
It is
suitable for use in all types of dogs and cats, including puppies and
kittens.
